Role: Drive achievement of sales revenue targets through effective planning and execution.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement both short- and long-term sales strategies aligned with the company's business objectives. Monitor and ensure achievement of assigned sales targets. Adjust sales approach to meet changing market conditions and business goals.2. Sales Process Management
Role: Implement, standardize, and oversee the sales process from lead generation to closure.
Responsibilities:
Define and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sales process. Ensure sales team adherence to established processes and best practices. Monitor and manage the sales pipeline for efficient conversion.3. Sales Team Management and Development:
Role: Lead and develop a high-performing sales team.
Responsibilities:
Recruit, train, and mentor sales personnel to maximize their potential. Establish performance indicators and provide ongoing coaching. Foster a performance-driven and collaborative work environment.4. Customer Relationship Management:
Role: Build strong relationships with customers to ensure loyalty and long-term satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Maintain active relationships with key clients. Handle escalations and resolve client issues promptly. Utilize CRM tools to optimize customer engagement.5. Market Sensing:
Role: Conduct market intelligence activities and monitor competitor strategies.
Responsibilities:
Track and report on competitor products, pricing, and promotions. Provide regular market updates to the management team. Identify and communicate market gaps and opportunities.6. Influencer & Aggregator Management:
Role: Engage and manage relationships with OEMs, influencers, and aggregators to expand reach.
Responsibilities:
Identify and maintain a database of key influencers and project stakeholders. Conduct regular outreach campaigns and personal meetings. Build marketing funnels using the AIDA (Attention, Interest, Desire, Action) framework.7. Reporting and Analysis
Role: Drive performance through reporting and analysis.
Responsibilities:
Generate and present detailed sales performance reports to senior management. Use CRM data to evaluate strategies and make informed decisions. Identify trends and suggest corrective actions.8. Budgeting and Financial Management
Role: Oversee the sales budget and ensure financially responsible operations.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage sales budgets. Track resource utilization to ensure cost-effectiveness. Align sales expenditures with business financial goals.9. Market Expansion
Role: Identify and execute market development initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Apply the Ansoff Matrix to identify growth opportunities. Launch existing products into new markets and new products into current and new markets. Strategize for increased market penetration.10. Cross-Department Collaboration:
Role: Work cross-functionally to enhance overall business outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate with marketing, product, and customer service teams. Provide sales team feedback to improve product development and service quality.Align interdepartmental goals to drive synergy.11. Sales Compliance and Ethics
Role: Ensure adherence to internal policies and uphold ethical standards.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce the company's sales policies and code of conduct. Train and guide the team on ethical practices and regulatory compliance. Maintain records in line with audit and legal requirements.
