The Area Sales Manager is responsible for driving sales growth, developing market strategies, managing distributor and dealer networks, and ensuring achievement of sales targets within the assigned territory. The role requires strong leadership, market knowledge, and relationship-building skills to manage and motivate a team of sales executives.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
Develop and execute effective sales and marketing strategies to maximize business opportunities.
Manage and support distributors, dealers, and retailers to ensure proper market coverage.
Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences.
Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to achieve performance goals.
Conduct regular market visits to ensure visibility and availability of products.
Prepare and present periodic sales reports and forecasts to management.
Maintain strong relationships with key customers and business partners.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to company policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
4-8 years of experience in sales, preferably in FMCG / Pharma / Consumer Durables / Industrial Products.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
