We are looking for a proactive and results-oriented Area Sales Manager to lead our
field vehicle sales
operations for electric 3-wheelers in a designated area. The candidate must have hands-on experience in
automobile sales
, particularly in 2-wheelers or 3-wheelers, and should be comfortable working in a field-driven, target-oriented environment. The role involves frequent travel to develop dealer networks, generate vehicle sales, and grow market presence at the ground level.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify, appoint, and manage dealers to expand the sales network for electric 3-wheelers
Conduct regular field visits to monitor vehicle sales performance and provide on-ground support
Drive vehicle sales through dealer engagement, local marketing, and area-specific strategies
Train dealer staff on product features, vehicle benefits, and sales techniques
Ensure achievement of monthly and quarterly vehicle sales targets in the assigned area
Collect market intelligence and competitor insights through direct field interaction
Prepare and submit timely sales reports, dealer feedback, and market updates
Ensure adherence to local compliance, documentation, and vehicle registration norms
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Experience: Minimum 2 years in
vehicle field sales
(3-wheeler or 2-wheeler segment preferred)
Educational Background: Graduate in any discipline; MBA/PGDM in Marketing is an advantage
Technical Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and reporting tools
Familiarity with CRM or dealer management systems (preferred)
Functional Skills:
Strong understanding of dealership operations and sales lifecycle for vehicles
Excellent communication, negotiation, and field execution skills
Ability to work independently and manage sales targets across a territory
Strong planning, multitasking, and time management abilities
