Job Summary
The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, developing key accounts, and expanding market presence within the assigned territory. The role involves managing dealer networks, builder and architect relationships, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve area-wise sales targets
Identify and onboard new dealers, distributors, and channel partners
Build and maintain strong relationships with
builders, architects, contractors, and interior designers
Generate leads for residential, commercial, and institutional projects
Conduct regular market visits and competitor analysis
Coordinate with internal teams for pricing, approvals, order processing, and dispatch
Ensure timely order closure, payment collection, and receivables management
Monitor dealer performance and provide sales support and training
Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and MIS for management review
Represent the company at site meetings, exhibitions, and industry events
Key Requirements
3-5 years of proven sales experience in
doors, interiors, plywood, hardware, or building materials
Strong network with builders, architects, and project consultants
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship management skills
Ability to handle multiple accounts and meet targets consistently
Willingness to travel within the assigned area
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM tools, and basic reporting
Preferred Skills
Experience in project sales and channel sales
Knowledge of wooden doors, frames, hardware, and interior products
Strong presentation and proposal skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,076.49 - ₹40,409.93 per month
