Job Description

Key Responsibilities



A. Business Development & Market Expansion



Execute the sales strategy defined by the Zonal Sales Head to achieve assigned revenue and volume targets.

Identify and develop

new geographies, new retailers, and new influencers

(architects, designers, fabricators).

Increase market share through structured territory coverage and monthly beat plans.

Drive

project acquisition

by identifying government, institutional, private, OEM, and hospitality leads.

B. Channel Management & Distribution Excellence



Strengthen and expand the

dealer, distributor, and fabricator network

.

Ensure

optimum inventory (30-day stock)

availability with channel partners and guide them on reorder planning.

Maintain retailer satisfaction through periodic visits, training, sampling, and prompt resolution of issues.

Enforce

pricing discipline

, discount approval norms, and commercial policies.

C. Sales Target Achievement & Performance Management



Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales plans as allocated.

Monitor critical KPIs:

o Revenue vs Target

o New Retailer Acquisition

o Active Retailers per month

o Collections and DSO

o Market Coverage

Submit accurate rolling forecasts for demand planning aligned with the Zonal Head.

D. Collection, Credit Control, & Commercial Discipline



Ensure

zero overdue collections

and strict adherence to credit policies.

Continuously monitor partner outstanding, credit limits, and resolve collection issues proactively.

Support the Zonal Sales Head in maintaining a healthy

cash-to-cash cycle



E. Sales Operations & Systems Compliance



The ASM must

religiously follow all company systems and processes

, including:

Mandatory Systems & Documentation



Daily Call Reports (DCR)

Lead funnel management

ISO documentation

CRM updates

Daily, weekly & monthly reporting formats

Beat plan adherence

Expense approvals and claim submissions

Non-compliance will be treated as a

performance and disciplinary lapse

.

Coordination Responsibilities



Coordinate with logistics/dispatch for on-time order delivery.

Support production/tech teams with project specs and queries.

Assist in sample management and marketing collateral distribution.

F. Influencer Engagement & Ecosystem Development



Conduct

regular product demos, training sessions, and seminars

for architects, interior designers, and contractors.

Build strong long-term relationships to generate continuous project inflow.

Capture on-ground product feedback to help Zonal Head and R&D refine offerings.

G. Market Intelligence & Competition Tracking



Collect data on competitor pricing, inventory levels, discounts, new launches, and market trends.

Share structured insights with the Zonal Sales Head for strategy refinement.

H. Adherence to Culture, Ethics & Professional Conduct



Maintain an

apolitical, ethical, merit-driven

work environment.

Uphold confidentiality and integrity at all times.

Represent the brand professionally in the market.

Strictly avoid personal conflicts of interest, unauthorized commitments, or misrepresentation.

4. Eligibility CriteriaEducation



Graduate (B.Com / BBA).

MBA / PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred.

Experience



4-8 years in field sales in

building materials

(plywood, laminates, solid surfaces, hardware, adhesives, tiles).

Strong background in

channel sales, retail development, project sales

.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
