is responsible for leading, supervising, and developing a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) to achieve sales targets, ensure effective execution of marketing strategies, and strengthen customer relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Sales Achievement & Target Delivery
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets across the assigned area.
Ensure effective implementation of brand strategies and marketing initiatives.
Monitor and drive primary & secondary sales of the team.
2. Team Management & Field Coaching
Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs).
Conduct joint field work (JFW) with MRs for coaching, training, and performance evaluation.
Identify training needs and conduct regular skill enhancement sessions.
Ensure discipline, productivity, and field effectiveness of the team.
3. Territory & Business Planning
Develop and execute area-wise business plans and doctor coverage plans.
Conduct market analysis to understand competitor activities, opportunities, and challenges.
Ensure effective routing, segmentation, and targeting by the team.
4. Relationship Management
Build strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, pharmacists, and distributors.
Support MRs in organizing CMEs, doctor meetings, and promotional events.
Represent the company at medical conferences and meetings when required.
5. Reporting & Compliance
Prepare timely reports (daily/weekly/monthly) on sales performance, field activities, and forecasts.
Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical promotion guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain accurate documentation of calls, coverage plans, and event records.
6. Inventory & Distribution Management
Coordinate with distributors/stockists to ensure product availability.
Monitor stock levels, orders, billing, and collections.
Address distribution issues to ensure smooth supply chain operations.

Qualification & Experience
Education:
B.Sc / B.Pharm / Graduate (Science or Pharmacy preferred)
Experience:
1. Minimum
3-5 years
of experience as a Medical Representative 2.
1-3 years
experience as a First-Line Manager (preferred)
Experience in [Therapy Area: e.g., Cardiology, Diabetology, Respiratory, General Segment, etc.] is an added advantage.
