The ASM will be responsible for driving business growth, managing a team of Sales Managers (SMs), and ensuring the achievement of sales targets for LAP products with ticket sizes ranging from INR 1 Crore to INR 10 Crores. The ideal candidate will possess strong market knowledge of Ahmedabad, a robust network within the DSA community, effective team management skills, and a proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales objectives.Key Responsibilities:Sales Target Achievement:- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for Loan Against Property (LAP) products with ticket sizes of INR 1 Crore to INR 10 Crores through the DSA channel in the Ahmedabad area.- Monitor and analyze sales performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure targets are met.- Drive lead generation, conversion, and loan disbursals consistently.DSA Channel Management:- Identify, onboard, and develop a strong network of Direct Selling Agents (DSAs) in Ahmedabad.- Build and maintain excellent relationships with DSA partners, providing them with necessary support and training.- Regularly engage with DSAs to understand their challenges, address queries, and motivate them to maximize business.- Ensure DSAs are compliant with company policies and regulatory guidelines.Team Leadership & Development:- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of Sales Managers (SMs) under your purview.- Set clear individual and team sales objectives and monitor performance against these goals.- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training needs for team members.- Foster a high-performance culture within the team, ensuring continuous skill development and morale.Market Intelligence & Business Development:- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs within the Ahmedabad LAP market.- Identify new business opportunities and devise strategies to penetrate untapped market segments.- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotional activities and campaigns.Operations & Compliance:- Ensure smooth coordination with internal departments such as Credit, Operations, and Legal to facilitate quick loan processing and disbursals.- Maintain high standards of ethical conduct and ensure adherence to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.- Monitor the quality of sourced applications to minimize rejections and improve login to disbursal ratios.Reporting & Analysis:- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.- Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement effective strategies.Qualifications & Skills:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.Experience:- Minimum 6-9 years of progressive experience in retail asset sales, specifically in the banking or NBFC sector.- At least 4-5 years of direct experience in Loan Against Property (LAP) sales.- Proven experience (2-3 years) in managing and leading a team of sales professionals.- Demonstrable experience in managing and growing business through the DSA channel.Domain Knowledge:- Strong understanding of the Loan Against Property product, its lifecycle, and credit parameters.- In-depth knowledge of the Ahmedabad real estate market and the DSA ecosystem.- Familiarity with financial products and services.Leadership & Management:- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a sales team.- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.- Ability to set and achieve challenging targets.Sales & Interpersonal Skills:- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.- Strong relationship-building abilities with DSAs and internal stakeholders.- Customer-centric approach.Other:- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and sales CRM software.- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.- High level of integrity and professional ethics.- Fluency in English and Gujarati (preferred).
