to manage and grow sales within an assigned geographical territory. The primary responsibility is to visit retail outlets, supermarkets, and local stores daily to take orders, deliver products, and ensure that Milk products are prominently displayed and well-stocked.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Distribution:
Follow a designated
route plan
to visit existing retail customers.
Identify and onboard new retail outlets to expand the distribution network.
Ensure the timely delivery of products to all customers on the route.
2. Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with shopkeepers and procurement managers.
Handle customer complaints or feedback professionally and report them to the supervisor.
Keep customers updated on new product launches, schemes, and price changes.
3. Merchandising & Inventory:
Ensure Milk products are displayed in the
best positions
(eye-level) in shelves.
Monitor stock levels at retail points to avoid stock-outs.
4. Collection & Reporting:
Collect payments (Cash/UPI/Cheque) accurately for all deliveries made.
Maintain an accurate log of daily sales, collections, and stock returns.
Report daily activities, competitor pricing, and market trends to the Sales Manager.
