We are looking for an experienced and highly driven
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
to lead and manage sales operations within an assigned territory in Kerala. The ASM will be responsible for overseeing a team of sales professionals, driving pharmaceutical and medical product sales, maintaining strong relationships with healthcare institutions, and ensuring effective execution of marketing strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, guide, and motivate sales representatives to achieve territory sales targets.
Promote pharmaceutical and medical products through effective territory management.
Build and maintain strong professional relationships with doctors, pharmacists, and healthcare institutions.
Provide support and training to the sales team to enhance product knowledge and selling skills.
Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to maximize market penetration.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales approaches.
Conduct regular field visits, review team performance, and prepare sales reports.
Ensure compliance with company policies, promotional guidelines, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
Proven flair and passion for sales leadership.
Strong foundation in pharmacy, medicine, or related healthcare fields.
Proficiency in market intelligence and understanding of healthcare industry trends.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team-management skills.
Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with healthcare practitioners.
Strong problem-solving abilities with the capacity to work independently and lead a team.
Previous experience as an ASM or in pharmaceutical/medical sales leadership is an added advantage.
