The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility of
Boche Tea
across the North Kerala region. This role involves managing distributor and retail networks, achieving sales targets, implementing trade promotions, and building strong customer relationships. The candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring consistent brand presence and delivering business objectives in Calicut, Wayanad, Kannur, and Kasaragode.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve volume, revenue, and distribution targets across the assigned territory.
Appoint, manage, and monitor distributors, wholesalers, and retail partners to ensure effective product availability.
Drive retail visibility through merchandising, point-of-sale materials, and trade promotions.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key retailers, stockists, and distribution partners.
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence to the management team.
Train, guide, and motivate the sales team (if applicable) to enhance productivity and achieve goals.
Plan and conduct market development activities, roadshows, and customer engagement initiatives to strengthen Boche Tea's market presence.
Ensure timely collections and adherence to company credit policies.
Regularly review sales performance, prepare reports, and share actionable insights with the management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets.
Expansion of retail and distribution footprint in North Kerala.
Improvement in market share and outlet coverage.
Execution of trade promotions and merchandising standards.
Timely reporting and sales data accuracy.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate / Postgraduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
4-7 years of sales experience in FMCG (experience in tea/beverages preferred).
Proven track record in handling distributor networks and retail sales.
Strong knowledge of North Kerala market dynamics and consumer behavior.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and sales reporting tools.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Fluency in Malayalam and English (Hindi is an added advantage).
