We are seeking a dynamic and result-driven Area Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales operations within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate will manage dealer networks, ensure revenue growth, and strengthen the company's presence in the hearing aids market. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, business acumen, and experience in managing dealer relationships.
Key Responsibilities
1. Dealer Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing dealers.
Identify and onboard new dealers to expand the network.
Conduct regular visits to dealers to address issues, provide training, and ensure optimal product display and promotion.
2. Sales Growth
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets within the assigned territory.
Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to regional market trends and customer preferences.
Monitor dealer performance and provide necessary support to achieve sales objectives.
3. Market Development
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
Collaborate with marketing teams for promotional activities and campaigns to increase brand visibility.
Organize and participate in dealer events, product launches, and training sessions.
4. Reporting and Analytics
Prepare regular sales reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and action plans.
Track inventory levels, dealer sales performance, and market feedback.
Use data-driven insights to recommend improvements in sales and distribution processes.
5. Compliance and Coordination
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, logistics, customer service) to ensure smooth operations.
Qualifications and Experience
Education:
Graduate in any discipline (MBA/PGDM in Sales & Marketing preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in sales, preferably in the hearing aids, medical devices, or FMCG industries. Experience in managing dealer networks is essential.
Skills:
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
Analytical mindset with a good understanding of market dynamics.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
