- Job Summary:- We are looking for an experienced and result-driven - Area Sales Manager (ASM)- to lead and grow our - HORECA (Hotels, Restaurants, Cafs)- and - Institutional Sales- segment in - Hyderabad- or Kochi. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of B2B foodservice sales, excellent relationship-building skills, and a proven track record in driving revenue growth in the HORECA and institutional space.Key Responsibilities : Business Development : - Identify and onboard key HORECA and institutional clients (hotels, restaurant chains, cafs, corporate offices, airlines, caterers, educational institutions, hospitals, etc.)- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for expanding coverage and penetration across Hyderabad/Kochi and surrounding areas.- Generate leads through field visits, industry networking, trade shows, and partnerships.Client Management :- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, chefs, purchase managers, and F&B heads.- Conduct product demos, sampling, and trials to convert prospects into long-term clients.- Ensure client satisfaction through regular follow-ups, service quality checks, and issue resolution. Revenue & Performance Management :- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and growth KPIs.- Track sales funnel, conversion rates, and revenue contribution per client type.- Monitor competitor activity and recommend tactical responses.Operational Coordination :- Coordinate with supply chain, logistics, accounts, and production teams to ensure smooth order processing and delivery.- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and collection status.Team Collaboration & Reporting :- Collaborate with marketing and product teams for region-specific campaigns and promotions.- Submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and insights to regional and national leadership. Qualifications & Experience :- Graduate/Postgraduate in Business, Hospitality, or related field.- 4-7 years of experience in HORECA / institutional sales (preferably in FMCG, food & beverage, hospitality, or tea/coffee industry).- Existing relationships in the Hyderabad HORECA ecosystem are a strong plus. Skills & Competencies :- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.- Strong B2B sales and relationship management experience.- Self-driven, target-oriented, and able to work independently.- Working knowledge of CRM tools and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint).- Willing to travel within territory as required.
