Identify high-potential markets, towns, and rural areas for expansion and penetration.
Deep understanding of the FMCG market to increase product visibility.
Appoint and manage a strong distribution network across various zones in Uttar Pradesh.
Regularly review distributor performance and ensure consistent product availability at retail outlets.
Set clear performance goals, monitor KPIs, and support the sales team with field activities.
Build strong relationships with retailers, wholesalers, and stockiest to promote product sales.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates for senior management.
Track sales metrics and suggest adjustments to strategies for improved performance.
Coordinate with marketing, production, and logistics teams to ensure alignment of supply and demand.
Candidate Profile:
Minimum
5-8 years
of sales experience in FMCG sector, preferably in
spices, food ingredients, or snack processing
.
Sound knowledge of the Uttar Pradesh market
, including urban and rural distribution dynamics.
Proven track record in handling sales targets, distributor networks, and launching new products.
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and team management skills.
Willing to travel extensively across assigned territories.
