Gujarat (City-wise / Multi-location) Extensive travel across stores required
ROLE PURPOSE
The Regional Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management of multiple retail stores and store staff, ensuring smooth daily operations, discipline, sales performance, compliance, and brand standards across all locations. The role demands a strong, proactive individual who can take ownership, apply independent thinking, and drive operational excellence without constant supervision.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Store Operations Management
-Oversee day-to-day operations of retail stores
-Ensure adherence to company SOPs, policies, and brand standards
-Conduct regular store visits and surprise audits
2. Staff Management & Discipline
-Supervise store staff attendance, punctuality, and behavior
-Ensure proper staffing, duty rosters, and shift management
-Handle staff issues, grievances, and disciplinary actions
3. Sales & Performance Monitoring
-Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance
-Ensure achievement of store-level targets
-Identify gaps and implement corrective actions
-Motivate store teams to improve productivity and customer service
5. Inventory & Store Readiness
-Coordinate with stores on stock availability and movement
-Ensure proper VM, cleanliness, and store presentation
-Monitor shrinkage, damages, and stock discrepancies
-Monitor cash deposits, stock handling, and billing practices
6. Coordination & Reporting
-Act as the single point of contact between HO and stores
-Share daily and weekly operational updates
-Prepare performance and compliance reports for management
7. Problem Solving & Decision Making
-Independently handle operational challenges on the ground
-Take quick, practical decisions in the interest of the business
-Proactively suggest process improvements and cost optimizations
