To lead and manage a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) within the assigned territory to achieve business objectives -- including sales targets, market expansion, and brand visibility -- while ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Key Responsibilities:1. Sales Management
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.
Monitor secondary and primary sales performance of team members.
Plan and execute area-specific sales strategies in line with company goals.
Ensure effective implementation of brand promotional strategies and doctor engagement plans.
2. Team Management
Recruit, train, and mentor Medical Representatives (MRs).
Conduct regular joint fieldwork with MRs to support and evaluate performance.
Motivate the team through effective communication, goal setting, and recognition.
Ensure adherence to reporting systems and CRM tools.
3. Market Development
Identify new business opportunities and potential customer segments.
Build and maintain relationships with key doctors, hospitals, distributors, and stockists.
Gather and analyze competitor activities, pricing trends, and market feedback.
Conduct CMEs, doctor meets, and promotional activities as per company plans.
4. Compliance & Reporting
Ensure ethical promotion of company products in line with pharma code of conduct.
Submit timely and accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
Ensure team compliance with company SOPs, regulatory norms, and documentation.

Achievement of sales targets (Primary & Secondary)
Territory coverage and doctor reach
Team productivity and attrition rate
Implementation of marketing and promotional activities
Customer satisfaction and market share growth
Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Science / Pharmacy / Commerce (MBA in Marketing preferred)
5-8 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of the therapy area (e.g., General, Cardio-Diabetic, Neuro, etc.)

Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools
Compensation:
As per industry standards, including performance-linked incentives and allowances.
