CTC Range (indicative):

?8-15 Lakhs per annum + Incentives (depending on company size and brand)

Job Purpose

To drive secondary & primary sales, distribution expansion, and market share growth for the footwear brand across the assigned area/territory through General Trade (GT), Modern Trade (MT), Large Format Stores (LFS), and E-commerce/key accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Revenue Targets

Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual primary & secondary sales targets (value & volume). Ensure 100% collection as per company credit policy.

Distribution Expansion

Increase breadth & depth of distribution (add new towns & outlets). Ensure availability of complete size sets, new launches, and hero SKUs in all key stores. Onboard new distributors/dealers wherever required.

Retailer & Distributor Management

Regular market visits (minimum 20-22 days field work/month). Build strong relationships with top retailers, multi-brand outlets (MBOs), and distributors. Conduct monthly business reviews with distributors.

Modern Trade & Large Format Stores

Negotiate and execute JBP (Joint Business Plan) with MT/LFS chains (Reliance Retail, Metro, Lulu, Spencer's, D-Mart, etc.). Ensure visibility, promotions, and shelf space as per planogram.

Team Management

Lead, train, and mentor a team of 6-15 Sales Officers/Territory Sales Executives. Set individual targets, conduct performance reviews, and drive productivity.

In-Store Execution & Visibility

Ensure best-in-class VM standards, POP placement, and branding in all key outlets. Execute in-shop promotions, danglers, standees, and seasonal campaigns.

Market Intelligence & Reporting

Track competitor activities (pricing, launches, schemes, distribution). Submit daily/weekly/monthly reports (sales, stock, collection, competition) on CRM/app.

Scheme & ROI Management

Plan and execute trade schemes, discounts, and incentives within approved budgets. Ensure maximum ROI on trade spends.
Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Post-Graduate (MBA preferred). 6-12 years of branded footwear/apparel sales experience (Adidas, Nike, Puma, Skechers, Bata, Campus, Liberty, Red Tape, Metro, Mochi, etc.). Must have handled General Trade + Modern Trade/LFS in the past 3-4 years. Proven track record of achieving ?15-50 Cr+ annual secondary sales (depending on territory). Strong dealer/distributor handling and negotiation skills. Excellent communication and man-management skills. Willing to travel extensively within the assigned area. Proficient in MS Office & Sales CRM apps.
Compensation & Benefits

Fixed salary Vehicle allowance + fuel + mobile reimbursement. Medical insurance as per company policy.
