The Area Sales Manager (ASM) will be responsible for driving sales, managing distribution networks, and achieving revenue targets for

in the assigned territory. The role involves developing channel partners, expanding market penetration, ensuring brand visibility, and leading a sales team to deliver sustainable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute area sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Manage and expand distribution channels including distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
Ensure product placement, merchandising, and visibility across general trade, modern trade, and institutional channels.
Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify business opportunities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners and key accounts.
Recruit, train, and manage a team of Sales Executives/Representatives.
Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.
Conduct regular market visits to monitor sales performance and customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present area sales reports, forecasts, and analysis to the Regional Sales Manager.
Implement promotional activities, trade schemes, and marketing campaigns in coordination with the marketing team.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate / MBA in Sales & Marketing or related field.
Minimum 4-7 years of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the beverages/tea segment.
Proven track record in managing distributors and driving secondary sales.
Strong understanding of trade marketing and channel management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in MS Office and sales reporting tools.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
