Job Description

We are seeking an

Area Sales Manager

with strong experience in

textbook publishing

or the

B2B EdTech industry

to drive growth across schools and educational institutions in Indore and the surrounding regions. The role requires a results-driven professional who can combine sales acumen with a deep understanding of the K-12 education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities



Develop and execute sales strategies to promote our textbooks and EdTech products to schools, colleges, and institutional clients. Build and strengthen relationships with school principals, educators, decision-makers, and key institutional stakeholders. Conduct structured school visits, product demonstrations, and academic workshops to showcase the value of our educational solutions. Collaborate with the marketing and academic support teams to design campaigns, presentations, and teacher engagement programs. Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through effective pipeline management and consultative selling. Keep updated sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor insights to support business strategy. Ensure excellent post-sales service and follow-up for sustained client satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications & Requirements



Bachelor's degree (MBA or equivalent preferred) with

5-7 years of experience

in

K-12 publishing sales

or

B2B EdTech solutions

. A strong network with schools, educators, and institutional clients in Madhya Pradesh is highly desirable. Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets within the education domain. Excellent communication and presentation skills, particularly with educators and academic leadership. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Comfort with using CRM tools, MS Office / Google Workspace, and digital sales platforms. Passion for education, academic publishing, and technology-driven learning solutions.
