Minimum 4-5 years in Food/FMCG Sales with team handling experience
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
who can independently manage the sales team, expand market presence, and strengthen retail partnerships across
West Delhi
. The candidate must have strong experience in the food/FMCG sector and deep knowledge of the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
Handle distribution network, retail shops, general trade, and modern trade in West Delhi.
Identify, onboard, and activate new shops to expand market coverage.
Build and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key partners.
Plan and execute area-wise sales strategies to increase product visibility and availability.
Implement schemes, promotions, and merchandising at shop level.
Monitor competitor strategies, market trends, and suggest growth opportunities.
Track sales performance, prepare reports, and ensure smooth daily operations.
Requirements:
Proven experience as an ASM/Sales Executive in the
Food/FMCG industry
.
Strong knowledge of
West Delhi's retail shop network
.
Ability to independently manage and train a field sales team.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership abilities.
Target-driven, analytical, and adaptable in field conditions.
Salary:
As per industry standards
