Job Summary:



We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven

Area Sales Manager (ASM)

to oversee and expand our pharmaceutical sales operations within the assigned territory. The ASM will be responsible for managing a team of Medical Representatives (MRs), achieving sales targets, implementing marketing strategies, and building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and distributors.

Key Responsibilities:



Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area. Supervise, train, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to drive performance and productivity. Develop and execute area-specific sales strategies aligned with company objectives. Conduct regular market visits to monitor competitor activities, stock availability, and customer feedback. Ensure effective implementation of promotional campaigns and product launches. Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, hospitals, chemists, and stockists. Prepare periodic sales reports, forecasts, and performance analyses. Identify new business opportunities and develop strategic initiatives to increase market share. Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards.

Qualifications & Skills:



Education:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or Business Administration (MBA preferred).

Experience:

3-8 years of pharmaceutical sales experience, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory/managerial role. Strong knowledge of pharma products, therapy areas, and the healthcare market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Leadership ability with a focus on team development and motivation. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):



Achievement of sales and growth targets. Team performance and retention. Market coverage and doctor conversion ratio. Execution of marketing and promotional activities. Customer satisfaction and feedback.

Competitive salary, performance-based incentives, travel allowance, and other benefits as per company policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?30,000.00 - ?55,000.00 per month
