As the
Area Sales Manager
, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, expanding market share, and managing dealership/retail networks within your assigned territory. You will lead and support a team of sales representatives (if applicable), ensure customer satisfaction, and execute strategic sales initiatives aligned with company goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
3-7 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
Strong knowledge of electric vehicle products, charging infrastructure, and the evolving mobility landscape.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing channel/distribution networks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.
Job Responsibilities :
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for EV products in the assigned area.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with channel partners, dealers, fleet operators, and key customers.
Identify new business opportunities and markets to increase revenue and expand the EV customer base.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service delivery and issue resolution.
Collaborate with the marketing team on local campaigns, events, and promotions.
Track sales performance metrics, prepare reports, and present insights to senior management.
Conduct regular training, product knowledge sessions, and performance reviews with channel partners and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to EV sales and customer interactions.
