highly motivated and experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM)
to lead, manage, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) in achieving sales targets and expanding our market presence. The ASM will be responsible for developing strategies, monitoring performance, and ensuring the effective implementation of sales plans within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, train, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Develop and implement area-wise sales plans and promotional strategies.
Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, distributors, and key opinion leaders.
Monitor field operations and ensure proper product visibility and availability.
Conduct joint fieldwork with team members for coaching and performance evaluation.
Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
Prepare regular performance and market feedback reports for management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Science, or a related field (MBA in Marketing preferred).
3 to 7 years of experience
in pharmaceutical sales.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyze data, manage teams, and handle multiple territories effectively.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
