Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee sales operations for the
assigned area/territory
Achieve
monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Appoint, manage, and motivate
distributors and sales teams
Develop strong relationships with
key retailers, wholesalers, and channel partners
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
Ensure effective
product availability, visibility, and merchandising
Conduct regular market visits and joint field work with sales executives
Track sales performance and prepare
MIS, forecasts, and reports
Ensure timely
collections and credit control
Coordinate with marketing, supply chain, and operations teams
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (
MBA preferred
)
3-7 years of experience
in FMCG / Retail / Food & Beverage sales
Proven experience in
area handling and team management
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of
General Trade, Modern Trade, and HORECA
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Target-oriented and customer-focused mindset
Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
