Area Sales Manager -
Key Responsibilities:
Develop sales strategies and implement action plans to achieve regional sales targets.
Identify, appoint and nurture
builders, architects, interior designers, contractors, and consultants
to drive project sales.
Organize and participate in
dealer meets, product launches, trade fairs, and promotional activities
.
Ensure effective
branding, product display, and merchandising
at dealer showrooms.
Lead, mentor, and monitor the sales team; conduct regular
sales reviews and training sessions
.
Drive
new product penetration
and ensure market coverage in both urban and semi-urban areas.
Monitor competitor products, schemes, pricing, and provide inputs for market intelligence.
Work closely with
marketing & technical teams
to provide customer training and site demonstrations.
Ensure proper documentation, timely invoicing, payment collection, and adherence to credit policies.
Report regularly to senior management with
MIS reports, forecasts, and market analysis
.
Maintain strong focus on
after-sales service
and customer satisfaction.
Candidate Requirements:
Graduate/MBA (Civil/Marketing preferred).
4-6 years sales experience in
tiles, sanitary ware, cement, construction, or building materials
.
Proven ability in
Dealer network management & project sales
.
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
Strong market knowledge & established contacts in the building materials ecosystem.
Proficiency in MS Office/CRM tools.
Willingness to travel extensively across the assigned region.
