Role Overview:
The
Area Sales Manager (ASM)
will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing distributor and retail networks, driving market penetration, and leading a team of sales representatives in the assigned territory. The ideal candidate must have
a strong background in cosmetics, skincare, or personal care sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve regional targets.
Manage and expand distributor, retailer, and salon networks.
Monitor sales performance and ensure product availability in all key outlets.
Identify new business opportunities and potential markets.
Lead, train, and motivate a team of Sales Executives and Beauty Advisors.
Ensure effective brand visibility and execution of marketing activities.
Maintain strong relationships with trade partners and key customers.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to support business growth.
Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and feedback to management.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Graduate in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
Minimum 5+ years of experience
in sales within the
cosmetics, beauty, or FMCG industry
.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong team management and leadership skills.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding of distribution management and retail operations.
Willingness to travel extensively.
