Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Area Sales Head with a proven track record in B2B sales, specifically within the education sector. The ideal candidate will leverage their extensive network and leadership skills to drive growth, manage key school accounts, and expand our market share across major districts in Kerala.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve high-level sales targets within the educationsector (K-7 curriculum sales focus) across the assigned area.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers in schools and educational institutions across the assigned regions (Trivandrum, Kochi, Thrissur, Kannur, Kasargod).
Identify new business opportunities, negotiate complex contracts, and close sales effectively for our physical education curriculum programs.
Deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations tailored to the needs of school administrators, principals, and physical education department heads.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and product development teams, providing market feedback to align sales strategies with company goals and market demands.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree (graduate) required. A Master's degree (postgraduate) is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of demonstrable success in a sales role, preferably within a B2B environment, with experience in a leadership or senior sales position.
Sector Experience: Strong preference for candidates who have previously worked within the education sector, particularly in sales roles dealing directly with K-12 schools or selling educational products/curricula.
Language Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. Must be highly articulate in written and spoken English and Malayalam.
Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and a results oriented, strategic mindset.
Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: ?30,000 to ?40,000 per month (Commensurate with experience and qualifications)
Additional Compensation: Travel Allowance (TA) and Daily Allowance (DA) provided for work related travel.
Performance Incentives: Generous bonus and incentive structure based on the achievement and over-achievement of sales targets.
