Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in traditional trade and modern trade segments.
Ensure effective product visibility and availability across retail channels.
2. Distributor Management
Identify, evaluate, and appoint new distributors to enhance reach and coverage.
Manage and nurture relationships with existing distributors to ensure smooth operations.
Monitor distributor performance (sales, stock, claims, payments) and ensure adherence to company policies.
3. Team Management
Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team (Sales Officers, Sales Executives, TSI).
Set individual sales targets and regularly monitor team performance.
Provide ongoing coaching and field support to team members.
4. Market & Competition Analysis
Conduct regular market visits to understand consumer behavior, retailer feedback, and competitor activities.
Share insights with the management and recommend action plans.
5. Reporting & MIS
Maintain accurate and timely reports on sales, stock, claims, and market activity.
Present performance updates and plans to the senior management.
Key Requirements:
Graduate with 8-10 years of relevant experience in the
FMCG or Food & Beverage industry
.
Proven track record in appointing and managing distributors.
Experience in hiring and managing sales manpower across regions.
Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Familiarity with the
Bangalore
and
Karnataka market
is a must.
Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and sales reporting tools.
8-10 years' experience required (FMCG/Food Industry preferred)
Age : 30-35 years max
