Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
We are seeking a results-driven
Area Sales Manager (Solar)
to lead sales operations across Karnataka, with a focus on the Bangalore region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving solar product sales, managing channel partners, expanding dealer/distributor networks, and achieving business growth targets in the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies for solar products (Rooftop, EPC, Inverters, Panels, Batteries, etc.) in Karnataka.
Manage, support, and expand dealer/distributor networks and channel partners.
Identify new business opportunities and drive institutional, industrial, and residential solar sales.
Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular market visits, competitor analysis, and business intelligence.
Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to provide pre-sales and after-sales support.
Train, mentor, and motivate the sales team under the region.
Submit timely MIS reports, sales forecasts, and market feedback to management.
Requirements
Qualification: Graduate in Engineering / Science / Business; MBA in Sales & Marketing preferred.
Experience: 5-8 years in
Solar / Renewable Energy / Electrical Product Sales
with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or regional role.
Strong understanding of solar power solutions, government policies, and subsidy models.
Proven track record in channel sales, institutional sales, or project sales.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
Ability to travel extensively across Karnataka.
Based in or willing to relocate to
Bangalore
