About the Role:
We are looking for a highly driven and experienced
Area Sales Manager
to lead our expansion efforts in
South India
, starting with Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in
FMCG sales
, a deep understanding of the
South Indian retail and distribution ecosystem
, and fluency in
Kannada, Hindi, and English
.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive primary and secondary sales across Karnataka with focus on both
General Trade
and
Modern Trade
.
Appoint and manage
distributors, stockists, and retail channels
.
Expand our footprint in
general trade and modern trade formats
.
Identify new market opportunities, build strong relationships with local retailers and wholesalers.
Monitor and ensure timely collection, billing, and inventory management.
Provide monthly sales forecasting and reporting to the Head Office.
Must-Have Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience
in FMCG/Consumer Goods (Oil category preferred).
Proven track record in
territory development
and
team leadership
.
Strong existing network in
Karnataka
or other states.
Language Proficiency:
Kannada (must), Hindi, English (verbal and written).
Comfortable with using
Excel, sales reporting tools
, and WhatsApp for team coordination.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
