Job Summary:
The
Area Sales Manager
will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business opportunities across the Southern states. The role demands strong leadership, technical sales understanding, and a proactive approach to expand Giantlok's market presence in the region.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets across South India.
Identify and develop new business opportunities in industrial, electrical, OEM, and infrastructure sectors.
Create and Manage relationships with distributors, dealers, and key corporate accounts.
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive activities, and customer needs.
Work closely with marketing and product teams to promote new products and ensure customer satisfaction.
Prepare and present business performance reports, forecasts, and strategic plans.
Participate in trade shows, exhibitions, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility.
Ensure collection targets and credit control within the assigned region.
Lead, train, and motivate the regional sales team (if applicable).
Desired Candidate Profile
Education:
Graduate in Engineering / Science / Business Administration. MBA (Marketing / Sales) preferred.
Experience:
Minimum 3
-5 years
of experience in
B2B industrial product sales
, preferably in
electrical, cable management, or related industries
.
Strong network and understanding of the South Indian industrial and distribution markets.
Proven track record of
achieving sales targets and managing large territories
.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Self-motivated, target-oriented, and willing to travel extensively across Punjab
