Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in the assigned region.
Provide training and support to the sales team and distributor staff.
Ensure timely collection of payments and maintain healthy credit control.
Conduct regular market visits to ensure product visibility and sales effectiveness.
Submit periodic sales reports and forecasts to senior management.
Collaborate with the marketing team for promotional activities and campaigns.
Address customer complaints and ensure prompt resolution to maintain brand loyalty.
Manage and nurture relationships with distributors, dealers, and retailers.
Identify and onboard new distributors to expand the network.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Other Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in the agricultural or seed industry.
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing distributor networks.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
Knowledge of the local market and customer behavior in Gorakhpur and surrounding areas.
