About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and result-driven Area Sales Manager with experience in the automobile industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing dealer/distributor networks, and leading a sales team to achieve revenue targets in the Chennai region.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets. Manage and expand dealer/distributor networks within the assigned territory. Build and maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention. Identify and develop new business opportunities to increase market share in Chennai. Monitor competitor activities and provide insights for business planning. Ensure timely collection of payments and compliance with company credit policies. Provide training, motivation, and guidance to the sales team for enhanced performance. Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management review.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Education

: Graduate in Mechanical/Automobile/Engineering or MBA in Marketing (preferred).

Experience

: 2-5 years of proven sales experience in the automobile industry (Battery tester and battery charger). Strong understanding of the Chennai/Tamil Nadu automobile market. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet targets. Proficiency in MS Office & CRM tools. Languages: English and Regional language(mandatory).

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
