The Area Sales Executive will be responsible for developing business in the assigned territory by appointing and managing distributors, dealers, and retailers, achieving sales targets, and increasing market penetration for the company's electrical switch and accessories products.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development
Achieve monthly and yearly sales targets for the assigned area.
Develop new dealers, distributors, and retailers.
Increase market coverage and product visibility.
Channel Management
Appoint new dealers/distributors as per company policy.
Maintain healthy relationships with existing dealers, distributors, and electricians.
Ensure proper stock availability in the market.
Market Development
Conduct regular market visits and surveys.
Promote company products to dealers, retailers, electricians, and builders.
Identify competitor activities and report to management.
Order Collection & Payment Follow-up
Generate orders from the market and ensure timely execution.
Follow up for payments and outstanding recovery through channel partners.
Promotion & Branding
Ensure proper display of products at dealer counters.
Implement company schemes, offers, and promotional activities in the market.
Reporting
Submit daily/weekly sales reports, market feedback, and tour plans.
Provide updates on market trends, competitor pricing, and new launches.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Graduate (preferred: sales or business background)
1-5 years experience in electrical products / switches / wires / hardware sales
Good communication and negotiation skills
Ability to travel extensively in assigned territory
Must have two-wheeler (preferred)
