Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :

Drive sales growth by maintaining and increasing sales of GPPL products within the assigned territory.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and business objectives.

Develop, maintain, and expand strong business relationships with distributors and retailers.

Manage and strengthen the existing distributor and retailer network.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through multiple market routes.

Allocate territories and responsibilities to Territory Sales In-Charge (TSI).

Formulate sales strategies and set targets in coordination with the Head Office (HO) team.

Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and motivate team members to achieve targets.

Analyze sales performance and productivity through SFA reports and dashboards.

Handle key distributor accounts as and when required.

Collect market intelligence, customer feedback, and competitor insights.

Ensure timely submission of daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports to the ZSM.

Field Operations & Market Execution:

Expand business in uncovered areas and non-performing towns.

Ensure a minimum of 50% productive calls from the sales team.

Monitor TSI activity, ensuring a minimum of 40 calls per day by TSI and 20 individual calls by ASM as assigned by the HO team.

Ensure effective route sampling during market visits.

Drive complete SKU coverage and availability across all assigned outlets.

Review TSI journey plans and create/upload Permanent Journey Plans (PJP) in the Field Assist application.

Visit and monitor in-shop promoters during market visits.

Ensure participation in exhibitions and promotional activities within the assigned area.

Supervise outlet data correction and validation on a daily basis.

Drive focus product sales across the team.

Develop and manage in-shop promoters at TSI headquarters.

Maintain cost-to-sales ratio below 2% for self and team.

Ensure FIFO (First In First Out) compliance at depot and distributor levels.

Lead and execute new product launches effectively.

Ensure timely hiring and management of vacant TSI and in-shop promoter positions.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Graduate in any discipline (Minimum requirement).

Minimum 7 years of sales experience with at least 2 years of experience in an ASM role.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Working knowledge of MS Excel, SFA tools, and basic computer applications.

Proficiency in the local language is mandatory.

Strong leadership, teamwork, punctuality, initiative, and problem-solving skills.

Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively.

Physically and medically fit for field operations.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ?40,000.00 - ?80,000.00 per month
