The Modular Furniture Executive is responsible for managing end-to-end processes related to modular kitchens, wardrobes, office furniture, and interior modular systems. The role involves client interaction, design coordination, production follow-up, installation supervision, and ensuring timely project completion with high-quality standards.
Meet clients to understand space requirements, design preferences, and budget.
Provide product explanations (materials, hardware, finishes, mechanisms, etc.).
Prepare BOQs, quotations, and technical documents.
2. Design & Planning
Coordinate with design teams to create 2D/3D layouts using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar tools.
Review technical drawings for accuracy.
Suggest space-optimizing solutions and modular layouts.
3. Production Coordination
Place production orders with the factory as per finalized designs.
Coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams to ensure material availability.
Track production timelines and ensure QC standards are met.
4. Project Execution & Installation
Schedule and supervise site installation teams.
Inspect installation quality and ensure alignment with approved designs.
Resolve on-site issues and coordinate with contractors, electricians, plumbers, etc.
5. Sales & Business Development
Generate leads through site visits and follow-ups.
Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets.
Maintain strong client relationships and post-sales support.
6. Documentation & Reporting
Maintain project trackers, work orders, material lists, and delivery schedules.
Prepare daily/weekly project updates for management.
Required Skills
Knowledge of modular furniture materials (MDF, Particle Board, Plywood), hardware (Hettich, Hafele), finishes (laminate, acrylic, PU).
Understanding of design principles and space planning.
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Strong project coordination and time-management abilities.
Basic to advanced software skills: AutoCAD, SketchUp, Excel, CRM tools.
Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
1-5 years of experience in the modular furniture/interior industry preferred.
Work Environment
Combination of office work and site visits.
Coordination with designers, production teams, installers, and clients.
