Job Description

A Footwear Distribution Sales Executive serves as the vital link between footwear manufacturers/wholesalers and retail businesses. Unlike a retail sales associate who sells to individual shoppers, this role is a B2B (Business-to-Business) position focused on bulk orders, territory management, and supply chain logistics.

Key Responsibilities

Retailer Network Development: Identify and onboard new retail partners, boutiques, and large-scale department stores to expand the brand's footprint. Inventory & Order Management: Monitor stock levels across the distribution network. You ensure that retailers have the right "size runs" and seasonal styles in stock. Product Presentations: Conduct "line showings" where you present upcoming seasonal collections (Spring/Summer, Fall/Winter) to buyers, highlighting new technologies, materials, and trends. Negotiation & Contracting: Negotiate pricing, bulk discounts, credit terms, and delivery schedules to secure high-value contracts. Merchandising Support: Visit retail locations to ensure products are displayed according to brand standards and provide "POP" (Point of Purchase) materials like stands and banners. Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, popular styles, and consumer feedback to provide data-driven insights to the manufacturing and design teams.
