Job Description

An Automobile Sales Executive drives revenue by engaging customers, understanding their vehicle needs, and guiding them through the purchasing process. Key responsibilities include demonstrating vehicle features, conducting test drives, negotiating prices, processing financing, and achieving monthly sales targets while ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

Greeting showroom visitors, understanding their needs, and recommending suitable vehicles.

Product Demonstration:

Explaining vehicle features, technology, performance, and benefits to prospects.

Sales Process Management:

Conducting test drives, negotiating, closing deals, and coordinating with the finance department.

Lead Generation & Follow-up:

Maintaining a customer database, following up on leads, and maintaining client relationships.

Market Knowledge:

Staying updated on competitor products, market trends, and industry regulations.

Administrative Tasks:

Processing paperwork, including sales contracts and vehicle delivery documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Experience:

Proven sales experience, ideally within the automotive industry.

Communication:

Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Product Knowledge:

In-depth understanding of vehicle models, features, and warranties.

Education:

High school diploma (or equivalent) is typically required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.

Licensing:

A valid driver's license is required.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Monthly sales volume targets (new/used vehicles). Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores. Conversion rate from test drives to sales.
