Job Description

We are looking Sales Man for our company Shyam Steels for various locations Cooch Behar, Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri and Lower Assam (Bongaigaon) having minimum 1 to 3 years' experience as Sales Man Executive in roofing sheet/Building Materials industry. Preference will be given to local candidates

Key Responsibilities:

Meet and exceed sales targets in the designated region. Develop strategies to increase market share and distribution of our products. Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on sales activities, trends, and forecasts. Monitor competitor activities and market trends to identify opportunities and threats. Build long-term relationships with key clients and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with customers to close sales deals
Have in-depth knowledge of roofing sheet types (e.g., GI, PPGI, color coated sheets, etc.), thicknesses, and applications

Collect market feedback and share insights with management to support continuous improvement in sales strategies, customer service, and product offerings.

Coordinate with customers for timely delivery and after-sales support

Key Requirements:

Graduate or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, or a related field. Minimum 1-3 years of experience in roofing sheet/ Building Material sales industry. Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills. Good understanding of constructions material, market dynamics, distribution networks, and customer behaviour. Willingness to travel within the assigned region as required.
