Role Summary:

This is a mid-level field operations role between Branch Manager and Territory Manager. The candidate will oversee branch activities, staff supervision, and ensure timely delivery and pickups within their assigned city cluster. Must come from the courier/logistics sector.

Core Responsibilities:

Operations Handling:

Manage daily delivery and pickup operations Monitor inbound/outbound shipments, RTOs, and transit movements Ensure correct scanning, sorting, dispatch, and handover protocols

Team Supervision:

Supervise delivery staff and in-branch operations team Allocate beat plans, pickups, and shift responsibilities Conduct regular field audits to check ground-level execution

Branch Support:

Assist multiple courier branches in your area (2-3 locations) Support Branch Managers with manpower or resource needs Ensure each location meets delivery KPIs and service quality

Performance & MIS Reporting:

Maintain delivery metrics, delay reports, and incident logs Share daily updates with Territory Manager and HO Track manpower efficiency and shift productivity

Customer & Client Escalation Handling:

Resolve high-priority delivery or pickup issues Liaise with corporate clients, if required, for service escalations

Cost & Efficiency Focus:

Monitor vehicle usage, delivery costs, and fuel efficiency Improve delivery timelines.

Eligibility Criteria:

Mandatory:

4-6 years in a courier company only Must know city geography well (based on chosen location) Working knowledge of handheld scanners & courier software Comfortable traveling locally and supervising multiple branches

Male candidate, age under 40

Owns a smartphone (two-wheeler preferred for field work)
