To lead and manage agricultural field operations within the assigned area, ensuring achievement of productivity, quality, and profitability targets through effective supervision, team management, and farmer engagement.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operational Management
Plan, organize, and monitor day-to-day agricultural activities across the assigned area.
Ensure implementation of crop management practices, input usage, and field schedules as per company standards.
Monitor the growth and health of crops, ensuring quality output.
Coordinate with technical/agronomy teams to provide timely field guidance to farmers.
2. Team Leadership
Supervise field officers, coordinators, and support staff to achieve operational goals.
Conduct regular review meetings and field visits to ensure performance and productivity.
Build a motivated and high-performing team through coaching and training.
3. Farmer Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with farmers and farmer groups.
Ensure farmer satisfaction through timely support, training, and input supply.
Resolve field-level issues promptly and effectively.
4. Business Development & Growth
Identify potential areas for expansion and new farmer onboarding.
Support in achieving sales targets for agri inputs, technology solutions, or produce procurement (as applicable).
Collect market intelligence on competitors, crop trends, and pricing.
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain accurate records of field activities, crop performance, and input utilization.
Prepare periodic reports on area performance, productivity, and costs.
Ensure compliance with all company policies and operational standards.

Qualification & Experience:
Education:
B.Sc / M.Sc in Agriculture, Agri Business Management, or related field
Experience:
Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in field operations, farm management, or agri input sales
Preferred:
Experience in handling multiple locations or managing farmer networks
