Role Overview
The Senior Store Manager is the business owner of the store, responsible for driving ?15 lakh+ monthly revenue through world-class retail operations.
This role leads the entire store team, owns the customer experience, sales performance, inventory accuracy, store infrastructure, and local business development, and acts as the face of KIWI in the Gurgoan market.
The core value of this role is to deliver a consistent 5-star customer walk-in experience while maintaining tight operational and financial control, with a strong bias for action and bias for sales.

Key Responsibilities

1. Revenue Ownership & Business Growth
Own and achieve minimum ?15 lakh/month store revenue
Drive upselling, cross-selling, and repeat customer visits
Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, in-store offers, and festival promotions
Forecast seasonal demand and ensure optimal stock availability
Develop nearby B2B customers (offices, corporates, gyms, gifting & bulk orders)
Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales metrics and take corrective actions

2. 5-Star Customer Experience
Ensure every customer receives a warm, premium, and memorable experience
Personally handle escalations, feedback, and high-value customers
Build a culture where staff confidently narrate product stories -- origin, farmers, health benefits, and usage
Maintain excellent store hygiene, visual merchandising, ambience, and cafe presentation
Convert walk-ins into loyal, repeat customers

3. Team Leadership & Culture
Lead, train, and motivate store staff
Set daily targets and review sales, conversion, and average bill value
Ensure staff grooming, behaviour, communication, and service standards
Create a high-energy, sales-driven, customer-first culture
Conduct daily briefings and performance reviews

4. Inventory, Audit & Controls
End-to-end ownership of inventory management
Conduct cycle counts, weekly checks, and monthly audits
Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance, expiry control, and batch discipline
Investigate, control, and answer for any inventory discrepancy
Coordinate with central supply team for replenishment and slow-moving stock actions

5. Store Infrastructure & Administration
Overall responsibility for store infrastructure, utilities, and upkeep
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, AMC, internet, POS, equipment, etc.
Ensure zero downtime mindset -- store must always be customer-ready
Handle basic local admin, documentation, and compliance needs

6. Local Marketing & Brand Building
Lead on-ground marketing: sampling, stalls, RWAs, societies, events
Increase walk-ins through hyperlocal outreach and partnerships
