Area Manager - (Cold Stone Creamery)



Position Summary



The Area Manager is responsible for overseeing the smooth operations of multiple ice cream parlour outlets within an assigned region. This role ensures operational excellence, staff performance, sales growth, and superior guest experience across all stores.

Key Responsibilities



1. Operations Management



Ensure all outlets follow brand SOPs, hygiene standards, and food safety guidelines. Conduct regular store visits and audits to check cleanliness, product quality, and service standards. Optimize stock levels, reduce wastage, and monitor inventory accuracy. Ensure equipment (freezers, chillers, blenders) is functioning properly, coordinate maintenance.

2. Sales & Business Performance



Drive monthly sales targets and improve outlet-level profitability. Monitor daily sales reports, identify gaps, and implement action plans. Support marketing campaigns, promotions, and new product launches.

3. Staff Management



Supervise Store Managers and overall outlet teams. Ensure proper scheduling, discipline, grooming standards, and code of conduct. Identify training needs and work with HR/training teams to upskill staff.

4. Customer Experience



Ensure every outlet delivers excellent guest service. Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure quick resolutions. Implement guest feedback mechanisms and continuous improvement.

5. Compliance & Documentation



Ensure adherence to FSSAI rules, company policies, safety protocols, and audit requirements. Maintain accurate records for attendance, inventory, petty cash, and daily reports.

6. New Store Opening & Setup



Assist in onboarding new stores, setting up operations, and training staff. Conduct pre-opening checks and ensure brand-standard readiness.

7. Reporting



Prepare weekly/monthly performance reports for senior management. Highlight operational challenges, risks, and improvement opportunities.

Skills & Qualifications



3-5 years of experience in QSR, cafe, or retail F&B operations. Strong knowledge of store operations, inventory, and customer service. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask, travel between outlets, and work under pressure. Basic understanding of MS Excel, POS systems, and reporting tools.
