Position : Area Head - IPCompany : Havells India LtdIndustry : Low Voltage SwitchgearLocation : PuneChannel : B2BExperience : 5 to 10 YearsQualification : B.E./B.Tech - Electrical EngineeringCTC : Up to - 14 Lacs (Fixed)Role OverviewThe Area Head - IP will be responsible for driving sales, market expansion, and channel management for the Industrial Products (IP) segment, specifically Low Voltage Switchgear, within the assigned territory. The role involves managing key accounts, developing B2B business, and leading a high-performing sales team to achieve revenue and market share objectives.Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage B2B sales operations for Low Voltage Switchgear in the assigned area- Achieve sales targets, revenue growth, and market penetration goals- Develop and manage relationships with OEMs, panel builders, consultants, contractors, and key industrial customers- Appoint, develop, and manage channel partners and distributors- Drive specification sales and ensure brand visibility in industrial projects- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements- Ensure effective execution of pricing, schemes, and promotional activities- Coordinate with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and technical support- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to improve productivity and performance- Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and business plans for the regionDesired Skills & Competencies :- Strong knowledge of Low Voltage Switchgear products and applications- Proven experience in B2B / industrial sales- Excellent leadership and team management skills- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building abilities- Strategic thinking with execution focus- Ability to manage key accounts and large industrial projectsPreferred Candidate Profile :- Electrical Engineer with 5-10 years of experience in LV Switchgear or allied electrical products- Experience working with industrial customers, consultants, and EPCs- Prior experience in handling a regional or area-level role is preferred (ref:updazz.com)
