The role bearer has the responsibility to manage a team of 15 to 20 credit analysts. The role bearer will be in direct contact with the consumers in order to establish their credit, worthiness, ensuring completion of verifications and adhering to the guidelines set as per the company credit policy. The candidate has to do loan underwriting for secured vertical for various bank and NBFC's.

Key responsibilities include:



Ensuring smooth regional functioning by meeting productivity norms, Turn Around Time (TAT), and Approval Ratio as defined by the respective Bank/NBFC.
Underwriting/reviewing Credit Proposals, including Review/Renewals, ensuring adherence to standard processes, TAT, and decision consistency.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date MIS reports, inspecting and monitoring portfolios to ensure a healthy portfolio.
Conducting business meetings with new financial institutions to understand requirements and facilitate empanelment.
Meeting with existing clients to understand market dynamics and risk trends for credit decisions.
Ensuring timely completion of deliverables, audit queries, and adherence to corporate retail policy/scheme and compliance matters.
Providing timely feedback to the management team on policy, market developments, and suggestions for improvement on products, policy, and processes.

Role Proficiencies & Qualifications:


For successful execution of the job, the candidate should possess:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience CA /CS /MBA/ Experienced preferred 3 - 5 years' credit underwriting experience Knowledge of credit, relevant industry and product trends Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and norms Good communication (both verbal and written) skill in both English and the local language. Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines Must have team handling experience
