About the Internship:
This is not a typical "get coffee" internship. This is a hands-on, foundational role where you will be at the forefront of our launch. You will gain unparalleled experience in both on-field (B2B) sales and off-field (digital) marketing strategies. You will be directly responsible for driving user acquisition and will see the direct impact of your work on the company's success.
Key Responsibilities:
On-Field Marketing (60% of time):
Direct Vendor Engagement:
Hit the streets! Approach and conduct demos of the Hargharwala app to milk, water, and newspaper vendors in assigned localities.
Lead Generation:
Identify and collect data of potential vendor partners through ground surveys and local area mapping.
On-the-Spot Activation:
Guide vendors through the registration process and ensure successful onboarding onto the platform.
Market Intelligence:
Gather firsthand feedback from vendors to help our product team improve the app. Report on competitor activities in your area.
Off-Field (Digital) Marketing (40% of time):
Social Media Management:
Assist in creating and posting engaging content (images, videos, reels) in local languages on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp to generate leads and build brand awareness.
Content Creation:
Help develop simple, compelling marketing collateral like flyers, brochures, and demo videos.
Data Management:
Update and manage the lead database in CRM tools like Google Sheets or HubSpot.
Campaign Support:
Support the execution of digital campaigns and analyze basic performance metrics.
Who We Are Looking For:
Currently pursuing or recently completed
a degree in Marketing, Business, Management, or any related field.
Excellent Communication Skills:
Fluency in English and the local state language is
mandatory
. You must be confident speaking with anyone.
Hustler Mentality:
You are proactive, energetic, and not afraid to step out of your comfort zone. You have a "get things done" attitude.
Tech-Savvy:
Comfortable with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp Business) and basic Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs).
Adaptable:
Willing to split time between field work and desk work.
Ownership:
You take pride in your work and are motivated by achieving targets.
