The Area General Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple food and beverage outlets within a designated area, ensuring consistent achievement of operational excellence, profitability, customer satisfaction, and brand standards. The role includes team leadership, financial management, compliance monitoring, and driving growth strategies within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of outlets, ensuring quality, service, and hygiene.
Drive revenue, profitability, and operational efficiency.
Monitor and analyze sales and financial performance.
Lead Outlet Managers and teams, promoting employee engagement and productivity.
Implement standard operating procedures and company policies.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
Manage inventory, wastage control, and procurement.
Conduct regular store audits and inspections.
Drive customer satisfaction initiatives.
Sales Leadership:
Create and drive sales targets for all product lines.
Build distributor and dealer networks.
Monitor daily, weekly and monthly sales performance.
Identify new markets, channels and key accounts.
Lead negotiations with modern trade, wholesalers and institutional buyers.
Marketing Strategy:
Develop annual marketing plans and budgets.
Lead product positioning, packaging and pricing strategies.
Coordinate promotional campaigns, digital marketing and brand partnerships.
Oversee market research, competitor analysis and customer insights.
Support new product launches with campaigns and activation plans.
Team Management
Recruit, train and guide the sales and marketing team.
Set KPIs and track performance.
Conduct regular reviews and provide coaching.
Business Development:
Identify growth opportunities in retail, HoReCa, corporate and export markets.
Build strong relationships with key customers and partners.
Drive category expansion and cross-selling.
Operations & Coordination
Work closely with production, logistics and finance to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
Manage demand planning and inventory forecasting.
Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards during promotions.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
Qualifications And Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or related field.
5-10 years of progressive experience in the Food & Beverages industry.
