Job Requirements
Role/ Job Title: Area Credit Manager- Secured Loans
Function/ Department: Rural Banking
Job Purpose:
To assess, evaluate, review, and approve proposals as a first officer for the business banking relationship which is referred to retail credit. Maintain the service level deliverables agreed with counter parts. Effective portfolio management including regular monitoring, early warning identifications, deferral tracking, renewals and working on appropriate account strategy in conjunction with business team in line with the Banks risk appetite.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Appraisal of proposals:

• Credit appraisal of loan application within defined guidelines and accordingly take decision, recommend for approval to higher authorities.
• To convey a clear opinion/ Highlight Critical risk along with suitable mitigates if any, regarding the acceptability of the proposed transactions/ facilities covering business model, industry risk, structure, Bank Conduct and Financials risk.
• Awareness of the product proposed suitability to client requirement.
• Conduct personal discussion with customers.

Portfolio Monitoring:

• Timely Renewal.
• Deferral Management.
• EWS Management.
• Customer visits on key customers and high value relationship.

Turn Around Time

• Maintaining the defined credit and end to end TATs to timely service internal as well as external customers.
• Co-ordination with Counter parts in Business, Operations, Legal, Technical and others as required.
• Ensure all MIS related to credit are submitted within defined timeliness.
• Area Knowledge.

Education Qualification:
Graduation: BA / BCom / BSc / BBA / BCA / BE / BTech or any other graduate.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant experience.
