To lead and manage a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) within a designated territory, ensuring achievement of sales targets, brand promotion, and strategic execution aligned with company goals.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, train, and motivate a team of 4-6 Medical Representatives
Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for pharmaceutical products
Conduct joint fieldwork with MRs to coach and monitor performance
Build strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), doctors, and chemists
Ensure effective implementation of promotional strategies and campaigns
Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence
Manage territory vacancies and ensure uninterrupted coverage
Submit timely reports on sales performance, market feedback, and team activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Required Skills & Qualifications
Graduate in Science or Pharmacy (B.Sc / B.Pharm); MBA preferred
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in pharma sales, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in territory planning, data analysis, and CRM tools
Ability to coach, mentor, and develop team members
Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned area.
