Business Head - FMCG Division (Prebuy) - 8925873440

Exposure to South India FMCG retail and distribution ecosystem. Understanding of rural vs urban FMCG trade behavior. Experience in scaling a start-up or fast-growing FMCG setup.

A. Business Strategy & Leadership

Define and execute the company's short-term and long-term business goals. Lead the entire FMCG division, including

Sales, Brand Development, Distribution, and Operations

. Develop annual business plans, revenue targets, and growth strategy. Review business performance through regular MIS and analytics dashboards.

B. Sales & Market Expansion

Set beat-wise, area-wise, and region-wise sales targets. Drive

direct-to-retail (D2R)

expansion across Tamil Nadu and other regions. Monitor performance of Field Sales Executives (FSEs), BDMs, and Sales Managers. Identify new market segments, retail clusters, and distributor opportunities. Develop incentive plans to achieve productivity and target efficiency.

C. Brand & Trade Development

Collaborate with the

Brand Development Team

to onboard new brands and strengthen existing ones. Create trade marketing and visibility strategies (POS, promotions, offers). Plan product bundling, shelf visibility, and retailer engagement programs.

D. Financial & Operational Control

Take ownership of

P&L, pricing strategy, and gross margin improvement

. Coordinate with

Accounts & Warehouse

to ensure smooth billing, dispatch, and stock control. Implement efficient credit & collection policies.

E. Team Management

Build and develop a strong leadership pipeline across sales and brand teams. Conduct monthly performance reviews and quarterly strategy meetings. Foster a culture of accountability, learning, and innovation.

F. Data, Technology & Reporting

Oversee CRM, sales tracker dashboards, and market analytics. Drive digital adoption across teams for transparency and speed. Submit weekly and monthly reports to management on business progress and bottlenecks.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
