: Junior Archivist

Duties and responsibilities:

The Nature Morte archive is seeking a Junior Archivist for documentation and upkeep of data of art works in the gallery inventory.

Candidates will be expected to create and update documentation for art works, utilizing a keen eye for detail.

Additional duties will include offering documentation support for exhibitions, fairs and adjacent projects.

This is a collaborative role within the Archive Department and will involve local travel to gallery storages in Delhi/NCR.

Requirements:


BA/MA in the fields of History of Art, Museology, Conservation of Art/Heritage or BFA/MFA or a Diploma in Conservation of Art/Heritage


An interest in collection management and archiving of contemporary Indian art


Sincere individual with drive and tential to work efficiently and accurately according to instruction with anability to collaborate and work with a team


A proactive approach to problem-solving with strong decision-making skills


Conscientious attitude with the ability to handle precious objects with care


Good time management skills with a proven ability to meet dead lines
